As an Executive Coach, Sharon exceeded all of my expectations. She created the space for me to develop myself and consider how I am “being” rather than what I am “doing” – this has profoundly affected how I feel about work and my impact on the organisation.

Through her insightful questions and the safe space she created to explore thoughts and ideas, I gained immense clarity on moving forward during a challenging time for the company. The impact resulted in significant cost savings and more efficient processes while maintaining a positive organisational work culture.
Executive Coaching with Sharon had a profound impact, both professionally and personally. I could see where specific patterns and behaviours were causing challenges, and Sharon’s thought-provoking questions led me to many aha moments, reflections and changes for the better.
Sharon is by far one of the best Executive Coaches I have engaged so far in my career. She is warm and engaging and brings positive energy to our sessions, which I value. Her questions constantly (and positively!) challenge me and lead me to solutions and aha moments which translate to tangible improvements.
Sharon’s style as an Executive Coach is positive, empathetic and empowering. She has a unique ability to get to the heart of a challenge and then quickly bring it to a place of possible solutions, which we work through as part of the session to see the right solution for the particular situation. Inspiring and empowering – highly recommend!
Having Sharon as my Executive Coach has completely changed my perception of my impact in my organisation. I feel more confident and have a clearer vision for myself and my department. This has improved the communication, culture and created a more purposeful environment.
Executive Coaching with Sharon was transformational in helping me improve relationships and build trust with my Senior Leadership Team. We now have a positive, open and honest culture that has had a domino effect throughout the organisation.
Sharon is a great Executive Coach who allowed me to be myself, reflecting on my strengths meaningfully while instilling courage and confidence in a caring way.
Communication
Communication is one of those skills that we see everywhere – job specs, staff surveys, marketing strategies!
When we communicate effectively, we positively impact the people & environment around us and get stuff done.
Understanding how best to communicate with certain personalities and get the best from those around us is essential.
Whether speaking one to one or in a group setting, your communication needs to be fuelled by confidence. It’s not just what we say but also how we say it that contributes to your message. The impact of your message will dictate the extent to which you can influence what happens around you. As leaders, this is what we need to do – impact and influence.
Resilience
Our “bounce-back ability” level becomes crucial in leadership as we find ourselves continually dealing with challenges that arise day-to-day.
A commitment to ensuring we look after our health (physical, mental and emotional) provides a solid foundation for dealing with all that work can throw at us.
Embracing a growth mindset where we learn from our mistakes rather than drown in self-disappointment means we can confidently move forward.
We all have a wellspring of resilience available to us, but we need to believe that it exists in order to access it.
We also need to demonstrate self-compassion and ensure we aren’t our own worst critics.
We all have an inner mentor who can put us on the right track – they are wise, compassionate, and kind, and know that you deserve more than a nasty voice telling you that you’re not good enough. Like charity, kindness begins at home, and once you employ self-compassion and practical thought processes that’ll drive you forward rather than drag you back, your resilience will blossom.
